Yesterday was the worst travel day I have had in a while. It was a series of delays, lost bags, and late night driving. 20 hours all said and done. Diet is junk: pizza, coffee, sweets, etc. This race will not be optimal from a diet perspective. I will monitor what I eat somewhat for the next 2 days.
Swimming wise, I swam intervals Tuesday morning. Not a great swim. I watched a series of professional coaching videos on tri swimming which were incredibly helpful. I confirmed what I have been suspicious of: my breathing is hindering me. The coach in the video said to breath every 2 strokes, no exceptions. I will do this in the race.
